Ithaca Journey specializes in transitional coaching and experiential learning and offers rural back to back to basics learning journeys and one-on-one coaching for individuals, teams and organisations. Currently, Ithaca Journey operates in London, Romania, Netherlands.

Ithaca Journey’s founder, Steliana van de Rijt- Economu has more than 10 years international HR experience working for blue chip companies like Kraft Foods, Vodafone, Nike and Shell. Her passion and the driving mission of Ithaca Journey is : „To give people the opportunity to rediscover their uniqueness and the power to follow their dreams while navigating the changes in their life”.

Steliana set up the Ithaca Journey learning centre in her childhood village in Romania , in Camena, and this innovative learning centre offers an unique opportunity to learn and gain insights about yourself by experiencing the rural life. In 2009, the Ithaca Journey rural journey idea won an innovation prize from Infodev -World Bank and was launched in the summer of 2010 with the first rural journey welcoming its participants.

Steliana last role in London was Program Manager for Coaching for Supervisors in Shell coordinating a team of facilitators globally and facilitating herself leadership courses . She is a Coaching Practitioner member of the EMCC (European Coaching and Mentoring Council) and a MBTI certified professional with experience in using MBTI to increase team effectiveness in a setting but also in 1to1 development interventions.
