Our approach


Main ingredients of your Back to basic rural learning experiences

1)      Workshops and activities facilitated by a Learning Professional

  • About You- re discover  what’s really important in your life by reflecting on your life defining moments and dreams
  • Personal Change & Attitude – become aware of own rational and irrational beliefs and find out what the inner barriers to follow your  own dreams and goals. Learn how to overcome your beliefs when interacting with other people by using simple tools to improve communication
  • The ultimate rural challenge – the entrepreneurial approach – learns from successful entrepreneurs how to deal with different working styles, decision process to get things done, how to get innovations working.   Apply  the learning in a competitive 1 day team challenge in which the team faces the roughness and in the same time beauty of the rural life while they set together towards their team mission

2)      Every day rural activities guided by a local villager: milking the goals/cows, working in the garden, baking bread, making cheese cooking on an outside clay stove, brewing homemade wine or palinka etc. 

3)      Individual coaching with an certified coach and the possibility for peer coaching and practicing coaching

4)       A study tour to discover the  region

We run group rural journeys of 5 days with maximum 12 people. The next available months in 2012 are June, July or September. If you would like to join and would like to discuss your availability and find our more information contact us at: office@ithacajourney.com .

The price of 1000 EUR per person covers for 5 days of personal development workshops, individual coaching, accommodation, meals and transfer from and to the airport. For couples and group bookings discounts apply! You can also opt for paying in 2 installments as long as the price is paid in full a month prior to the event.
